WHEN THE TRANSITION OCCURS

The most consequential, and most consistently mismanaged, moments in any family, congregation, or institution are seasons of transition, when what is ending has ended and what is beginning has not yet begun. When the Transition Occurs is established, through Israel's succession narratives from Moses and Joshua to Elijah and Elisha and David's turbulent reign, that transitions are appointed by God and that what they expose about a community was always present before the pressure arrived. The first movement maps the anatomy of transition, the covenant and the clock, and the loyalty test. The second dissects betrayal, the Absalom spirit, and the Demas syndrome. The third stands Babylon at the crossroads, tracing its rise, its fall, and the remnant that remains. The final chapters address the successor's burden and the transition that transforms. For senior leaders, successors, boards, and families, it is a covenant manual for the hinge moments of history.

Succession, covenant, and civilizational consequences.
